Located one mile from downtown Kihei, the Kauhale Makai ResortQuest Maui features two six-story buildings, landscaped gardens, and beach access, and is approximately 12 miles from Kahului Airport. Local attractions include Iao Valley State Park, approximately 15 miles away. Located close by is, Sugar Beach, Big Beach, Makena Beach, Little Beach, just to name a few. Wailea is around 5 - 10 minutes, Maalaea Harbor home to many charters is 15 minutes and the popular whaling town Lahaina around 30 minutes.
There is plenty of shopping within 10 minutes including: Longs Drug Store, Markets, Safeway and strip malls. Plus, you find plenty of places to shop for gifts, souvineurs and clothing.
The Kauhale Makai ResortQuest Maui features park-like landscaping, beach access, outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, 6 - barbeques, putting green, laundry facilities, and a sundry store. Village by the Sea has a nice pool area for swimming, relaxing or enjoying the whirlpool. Just don’t lose the key.....they charge $25.00 to replace it. The condo is very quite and starts to shut down all the noise and pool activity after 10pm.
The staff at the front desk are very helpful and always ready to help. The have a travel consultant to advise you where to find all the hot spots in Maui. They also offer a morning presentation on all that Maui has to offer. Its well worth attending, no time share selling, free coffee, muffins and fresh fruit. Plus, they can help with any bookings for attractions, whale watching, helicopter tours, etc.
Condominiums feature kitchens, dishwashers, linens, towels, lanais, cable TV, irons and ironing boards, air-conditioning, and telephones.
