You can book a charter from Maalaea Harbor, Lahaina Harbor or from the Maui Prince Hotel which is directly across for the Molokini Crater. We went out of Maalaea Harbor on the Frogman II heading to turtle town and the Molokini Crater. We left the dock at 7am so if your in Kihei or Wailea give yourself 30 minutes for travel time. It’s easy to find the slips they are all numbered and named. The captain and crew on Frogman II were very entertaining and professional. We were given detailed instructions on how to use the snorkel equipment, boat and water safety. The first stop was turtle town where we snorkeled and viewed some very large turtles. We purchased an underwater camera on the boat and and managed to take some great pictures of the turtles and tropical fish. After about 1/2 hour of snorkeling we were on our course to the Molokini Crater.


	Molokini Crater is the #1 snorkeling destination in Hawaii.

We stopped along the way for some excellent whale watching and yet another picture taking opportunity. The snorkel at the Molokini Crater was fantastic the water was warm, the tropical fish and coral were all around us. If your not a swimmer they have flotation devices so you can still check out the spectacular underwater beauty. There were 4 other boats anchored nearby but all around 50 -75 yards apart. After the amazing snorkel they served a barbecue lunch and offered the best $1 Mai Tai's in Maui.
